PORTAGEVILLE - Elenora Holmes, 87, died Oct. 10, 2003, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
Born March 29, 1916, in Wilson, Ark., daughter of the late Gent and Beulah Clark, she was a member of Zion Rock Missionary Baptist Church.
Her husband, Sylvester Holmes, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Matthew Hardin of Portageville; five daughters, Sadie Moore, Annette Nolen, Scottie Haynes and Mary Willis of Portageville and Delorise Hall of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Napoleon Clark of South Bend, Ind.; two daughters-in-law, Doris Nolen of Portageville and Nadine Nolen of St. Louis; and 35 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were four children, Herbert Nolen Jr., James Nolen, Famous Nolen and Betty Nolen; and one grandson, James Junior Sisson.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Portageville with the Rev. Robert Anderson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Jamie Hardin, Jesse Nolen, Clyde Nolen, Patrick Nolen, Kevin Nolen and Marco Tuggle.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Charles Partee, Larry Nolen, Larry McGill, Chico Yancy, Lance Robinson and Chris Nolen.
