BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. - Lisa Hope Ross Gribble, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., left this earth the join her Lord and Savior on Oct. 14, 2003, in Bethesda, Md.

Lisa was given to Vester and Patricia Ross of Sikeston on May 19, 1965, to care for and love. Along with her parents, siblings LuAnn Elrod, Margie and Eddie Moore of Sikeston, Terri and Jack Hackney of Fort Worth, Texas, and Billy and Angie Ross of Holland, Mich., all survive. She also had nine nieces and nephews with seven great-nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Her husband, Timothy Gribble survives of their home. They had been given their own angels, Alexander Ross, 12; and Haley Rae, 11.

Lisa was a member of Armorel Baptist Church in Blytheville. A true child of God, her days were filled with the promise of God's light and love. Although a homemaker, she worked faithfully for the Lord.

The last four years, she battled cancer. She had become active in the foundations and organizations in her area and never gave up the fight. Her strength, courage and faith taught us all how to live.

She touched the lives of everyone she met. A true friend, she was. She is healthy and happy once again on the right hand of our Lord.

Lisa's visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Armorel Baptist Church and burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville.

Cancer took her life, but her spirit and love will live forever in our hearts. She will be greatly missed.
