SIKESTON - Anne Elizabeth Ford, 57, died at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 20, 2005, at her residence.
Born Dec. 24, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, to the late Vincent A. "Buck" and Kathleen "Elizabeth" Spalding Wissman, she was a 1965 Sikeston High School graduate and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She had worked as a paralegal for the Richard Whiffen Law Firm. She also worked for Robison and Blanton Law Firm, David Dolan Prosecuting Attorney's office and for Cristy Baker-Neel Prosecuting Attorney's office. She was employed with the License Bureau for many years.
On June 27, 1969, in Sikeston, she married Dan E. Ford, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Blake E. Ford of Reno, Nev.; one daughter, Ashley Ford of Boise, Idaho; three brothers, Steve Wissman of Leawood, Kan., Mike Wissman of Summerfield, N.C. and Russ Wissman of Fairhope, Ala.; and one half brother, Paul "Tiny" Masterson of LaFayette, La.
Friends may call after 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 12:30 p.m. with the Rev. Jonathan Cooney, associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Inurnment will follow in the family niche at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
