Judy Bledsoe
MATTHEWS - Julia G. "Judy" Bledsoe, 64, died at 5 p.m. March 27, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Nov. 5, 1938, in Matthews, daughter of the late Clyde Aaron and Helen Lee Ida Pobst Osteen, she was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was a bus driver for the New Madrid County R-1 School District for 30 years and was also a floral designer for Helen's Florist for 30 years.
On July 18, 1953, in Hernando, Miss., she married Vernon Lee Bledsoe who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Tammy Thresher of East Prairie and Tashia Hargis of Horn Lake, Miss.; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen Schneider, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Matthews Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Randell Hargis, Mark Duester, Loren McClung, Ricky Taylor, Donald Ray Taylor and Frank Cohen.
