Lowell Throgmorton
BLOOMFIELD - Lowell Throgmorton, 78, died Aug. 13, 2003, at his home.
Born Aug. 24, 1924, in Piggott, Ark., son of the late Albert and Edna Nettles Throgmorton, he lived in the Bloomfield and Dexter areas for 57 years. He was a retired veterinarian assistant and member of the Hill General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
On Oct. 28, 1944, at Piggott, he married Margrettia Stoker who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Randy Throgmorton of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Kenny Carney of Bloomfield; one brother, Doyne Throgmorton of Ballwin; two sisters, Hazel Meyer of Bridgeton and Wilma Testorelli of Romulus, Mich.; and two grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gerald King will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
