Mary Tatum
ANNISTON - Mary L. Tatum, 75, died at 12:18 a.m. Aug. 15, 2003, at her home.
Born June 1, 1928, in Anniston, daughter of the late Ernest and Minerva Shoemaker Blackwell, she was a lifelong resident of Anniston, where she was a member of the Nazarene Church.
On March 6, 1946, at Benton, she married John Tatum, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Charles Allen Tatum of Charleston and John Wayne Tatum of Anniston; two daughters, Delores Fulton of Corsicana, Texas, and Mary Ann Rolwing of Waxahachie, Texas; one brother, Willie D. Blackwell of Gilbertsville, Ky.; and nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
One sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burl Britt will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Anniston Cemetery.
