COLUMBIA -- At the request of the Big 12 Conference and television partner ABC Sports, Missouri has agreed to move its previously scheduled Nov. 1, 2003 home football game against Iowa State to Nov. 29th.

The game will be televised on ABC and will kick off at Noon (central time) at Faurot Field/Memorial Stadium.

The ABC telecast will provide a nice bookend to the season, as the Tigers will also open their highly-anticipated 2003 campaign on ABC, when they take on Illinois in St. Louis on Aug. 30th at 1 p.m.

Mizzou has been ranked as high as No. 24 in various pre-season polls, and will feature one of the nation's top offensive attacks, led by All-American quarterback candidate Brad Smith.

"We appreciate Missouri and Iowa State helping the Big 12 Conference fulfill our needs with ABC," said Big 12 Conference Associate Commissioner Tim Allen. "We have been assured that the game will receive excellent coverage, and we are pleased that both institutions had the flexibility to make this happen," he said.

Single-game tickets and season tickets are still available for the 2003 season from the MU Athletic Ticket Office by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS. Tickets can also now be purchased online by visiting the official site of MU Athletics, at www.mutigers.com.
