LAKE BARKLEY -- The Bootheel Bassbusters held their sixth tournament of the year on June 22 on Barkley Lake out of Devil's Elbow.
Leven Cox won the tournament with a six-fish limit weighing 11 lbs., 6 oz. Travis Garrett was second with 9 lbs., 15 oz., and also won the Lucky Drawing.
Kenny Dement was third with 8 lbs., 4 oz. Harold Bays took big bass honors with a 4 lb., 8 oz., fish.
Stan Pace maintains his lead in the Angler of the Year race with 1,112 points. Cox is second with 968 points and Garrett is third with 904 points. The club travels to the Fenton ramp on Kentucky Lake for their seventh tournament on July 13.
