PORTAGEVILLE - Wanda Lee Hurley, 91, died Feb. 8, 2004, at her home.
Born July 12, 1912, at Steele, daughter of the late David Harry and Josephine Jessie Skaggs Whitener, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville.
On April 27, 1936, at Steele, she married Charlie Lee Hurley who preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 1971.
Survivors include: one daughter, Phyllis Sandberg of Portageville; two stepdaughters, Margaret Baker of Springfield and Alice Martin of Kansas City; one sister, Rosie Sziegler of Memphis, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Delbert Whitener, Walter Whitener and John Whitener; three sisters, Ruby Whitener, Marjorie Miller and Bethel Dunbar.
Visitation begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday at DeLisle Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Inman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
