T.A. McDonough

SAND SPRINGS, Okla. - The Rev. T.A. McDonough, 80, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died March 1, 2004, in Tulsa.

Born April 19, 1923, in Weber Falls, son of the late Isaac and Mildia Suggs McDonough, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He lived in Sikeston for 22 years, during which time he served as pastor of the First Assembly of God Church and Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church. He retired in 2001.

On March 19, 1944, in Dardanelle, Ark., he married Bobbie Lee Foster who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Jeanetta Lincoln of Sand Spring; two sisters, Martha McDonald of Spencer and Lois Wright of Okmulgee; three brothers, Vernon McDonough of Morrilton, Ark., L.D. McDonough of Russellville, Ark., and Isaac McDonough of Spring, Texas; and several grandchildren and foster grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Gerald McDonough; one daughter, Kara McDonough; and three brothers, Norman McDonough, James McDonough and Elmo Donough.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Cathedral of Praise Church in Sand Springs. The Rev. Greg Whitlow officiated.

Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery at Tulsa.

Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs was in charge of arrangements.
