Theo Poindexter

MARION, Ky. - Theo E. Poindexter, 78, died at 11:50 p.m. March 2 ,2004, at the Livingston County Hospital.

Born July 9, 1925, in Livingston County, son of the late Lacy Boyd and Lena Poindexter, he was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Marion and the Marion Masonic Lodge. He was an advertising representative for the Crittenden Press in Marion.

His wife, Natalie Jo Poindexter, survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Brenda Gillespie of Dexter, Mo., and Anita Moore of Sikeston, Mo.; one son, Roger Poindexter of Nashville, Tenn.; one sister, Alene Hodge of Evansville, Ind.; and five grandchildren.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday. The Revs. Wayne Carter and Tom Geers will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Repton Cemetery.
