Mary McCoy
DEXTER - Mary Norma McCoy, 83, died Feb. 23, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare in Bloomfield.
Born Feb. 7, 1921, in Powe, daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel Jordan Grayum, she was of the Pentecostal belief. She was a housekeeper at Dexter Memorial Hospital before retiring.
On March 2, 1940, at Advance, she married Richard Rudolph McCoy who preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1972.
Survivors include: two sons, Charles McCoy of East Prairie and Alfred Richard McCoy of Dexter; and 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald Joseph McCoy; one daughter, Connie Sue Morrison; one brother, Bill Grayum; and four sisters, Josie Smith, Thelma Wilcox, Forrest Whitehead and Dora Lathum.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Danny King will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery at Bloomfield.
