Diane Baker

ST. LOUIS - Catherine Diane Powell Baker, 47, formerly of Lilbourn, died Jan. 28, 2004, at DePaul Health Center in St. Louis.

Born Aug. 12, 1956, in Hayti, daughter of Lorene Powell Divinny of St. Louis and the late Bill Caldwell, she was a licensed practical nurse at IHS on Gravois in St. Louis.

On May 18, 1974, she married John Baker who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include: one son, Jason Baker of St. Louis; one daughter, Michelle Miller of Perryville; one brother, Robert Powell of Palm Dale, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Victoria Milton and Lindsey Miller of Perryville.

Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the General Baptist Church in Lilbourn with the Rev. Travis Lambert officiating.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
