DEXTER - Lvara Walker, 84, died Jan. 29, 2004, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.

Born Aug. 5, 1919, in Marble Hill, daughter of the late Thomas Clarence and Tiney Bollinger Burnett, she attended Ark of Hope Church in Dexter.

On Nov. 23, 1935, at Essex, she married William Earl Walker who preceded her in death on June 13, 1987.

Survivors include: four sons, William "Bill" Walker of St. Charles, Nolan Ray Walker of Bloomfield, Harold "Bennie" Walker of Brownsville, Ky., and Johnny Ralph Walker of Wappapello; seven daughters, Tina Naomi Rainey of Essex, Maxine Sims of Gulfport, Miss., Barbara McMullin of Cape Girardeau, Wanda Louise Cobb of Wappapello, June Bollinger of Valparaiso, Fla., Judy Duncan of Crestview, Fla., and Rita Becraft of Brownsville; and 34 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were four brothers, Ralph Burnett, Barrett Burnett, Boyd Burnett and Fred Burnett; and four sisters, Jewell Kinder, Clara Burnett, Louise Orne and Dottie May Burnett.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday. The Revs. David Hardin and Karen Oldham will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
