Donald Henry

EAST PRAIRIE - Donald Ray Henry, 50, died Jan. 28, 2004, at his home.

Born Nov. 10, 1953, in Wyatt, son of Irene Brashears Henry of East Prairie and the late Ulys A. "Buck" Henry, he was of the Baptist belief. A lifelong resident of Mississippi County, he worked in the tire bay for Delta Growers since November 1989.

Survivors in addition to his mother include: five sisters, Patricia Riley of Wyatt and Linda Redd, Alice Riggins, Phyllis Bell and Kathy Kuykendall of East Prairie; one brother, Mickey Henry of Charleston; and several nieces and nephews.

Two nephews, Michael Moore and Kirk D. Riggins, preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Jon Archie, pastor of Elm Street Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
