Annie Dove

BENTON - Annie Marie Dove, 79, died at 11:10 a.m. Jan. 28, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Dec. 24, 1924, at Greensboro, N.C., daughter of the late Henry Oma and Annie Elizabeth Gardner, she had been a waitress for Marriott Food Service in Landover, Md. She was of the Methodist belief.

She was first married to Joe Hettenhouser and later married Milford Brashears. Her husbands preceded her in death.

Survivors include: five sons, Nicky Hettenhouser of Benton, Kenny Hettenhouser of Edgewater, Md., Ronnie Hettenhouser of Scott City, Steve Hettenhouser of Cape Girardeau and Duane Brashears of Arnold; one sister, Sarah Oliver of Asheboro, N.C.; and 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son and one brother.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Friday until service time at 11 a.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. The Rev. Dennis Lowe will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Unity Baptist Cemetery at Benton.
