BLODGETT - Lillie A. Williams, 96, died at 2:02 a.m. Feb. 12, 2004, at the Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

Born Dec. 14 1907, at Bertrand, daughter of the late Lonzo and Rebecca Kernell Mott, she was a member of the Blodgett Baptist Church, where she was pianist, organist and church secretary for many years.

Her husband, Otis Williams, preceded her in death in April 1971.

Survivors include: three sons, Ronald Williams of Jackson, Wendel Williams of Searcy, Ark., and Larry Williams of Scott City; one sister Eva Childress of Cape Girardeau; and eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Frances Funke, preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Robert Chaney, pastor of the Berean Baptist Church of Jackson, will officiate, assisted by Don Glover, minister of the Forsythe Church of Christ in Monroe, La.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
