BLOOMFIELD - James Walker, 77, died May 4, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born June 1, 1926, in Aquilla, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Lawrence Walker. A retired barber, he lived all his life in the Bloomfield area where he was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

On May 28, 1950, he married Rosemary Pulliam who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Jamie Jackson of Dexter; one brother Wayne Walker of Columbia; and two grandsons.

Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. Friday until service time at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ron Dunavin will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.

Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
