Ruby Mills

SIKESTON - Ruby Lois Mills, 73, died at 5:05 p.m. June 30, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 1, 1929, in Vanduser, daughter of the late William B. and Ethel L. Cooper Parks, she was a private duty caregiver for the Norman Lambert family and was of the Baptist belief.

On July 1, 1975, in Puxico, she married Harold Mills who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: four sons, Gary Klingel of Benton, Byron Klingel of Kennett, Bobby Klingel of Vanduser and Billy Klingel of Jackson; one daughter, SonJa Fisher of Vanduser; three brothers, J.D. Parks of Puxico, John Parks of Morehouse and Jimmy Parks of Center, Texas; two sisters, Captola Fodge and Hilda McClung of Sikeston; and 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

One brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. David Cullen, pastor of the Cornerstone Church in Bertrand, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
