EAST PRAIRIE - J.P. Bramlett, 17, died at 3:15 a.m. Sept. 30, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. EAST PRAIRIE - J.P. Bramlett, 17, died at 3:15 a.m. Sept. 30, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Jan. 6, 1987, at Shawnee, Okla., son of Randy O'Dell Bramlett of East Prairie and Janet Denise Parsons Bramlett of Troy, Tenn., he was a senior at East Prairie High School. He was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church in Charleston.

Survivors in addition to his parents include: his stepmother, Judy Bramlett of the home; three brothers, Richard Joseph Bramlett of Germany, Calvin Charles Hunt II of Dowagiac, Mich., and Rodney O'Dell Bramlett of Rockford, Ill.; one sister, Kimberly Hall of East Prairie; and his maternal grandparents, W.D. Parsons of Troy, Tenn., and Mildred Miller of Shawnee.

His paternal grandparents, O'Dell and Pauline Bramlett, preceded him in death.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Sunday at Shelby Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Jon Archie will officiate.

Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Rodney Bramlett, Ivan Ray Bramlett, David Bramlett, Richard Hunt, Calvin Hunt and Michael Woodrow.
