SIKESTON - Crystal Dawn Pearson is the mother of her second daughter, born at 8:16 p.m. Sept. 2, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Sydnea Blaire Pearson weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 18 1/2-inches long.

Pearson, daughter of Marion Pearson and Brenda Pearson of Sikeston, is employed by ESI.Comm in Sikeston.

SIKESTON - Freddie and Vera Turner are the parents of twin daughters, born Sept. 2, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. When Makayla Shereese Turner was born at 3:05 p.m., she weighed 5 pounds, 4 ounces and was 18-inches long. Makyla Latrice Turner weighed 4 pounds, 14 ounces and was 17 1/2-inches long when she arrived at 3:06 p.m.

Mrs. Turner is the daughter of Marilyn Wilson and Percy White.

Turner is the son of Rosie Roberson and Torrence Roberson.

SIKESTON - Jody Owens and Natasha Sherrell are the parents of their second child, first son, born at 1:34 a.m. Sept. 2, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Jodarrius Devonte Owens weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Jean Sherrell Davis and Clarence Davis.

BENTON - Warren and Tina Cork are the parents of their third child, second daughter, born at 2 p.m. Sept. 2, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Carolyne Rose Cork weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 19 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. Cork, daughter of Lindell Joe and Peggy Burton, is a teacher for Scott County Central Schools.

Cork, son of Alfred "Bud" Cork and the late Nancy Carol Cork, is a resource conservationist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture/NRCS.
