Carl Forrester
ST. LOUIS - Carl W. Forrester Jr., 56, died Aug. 30, 2004, at John Cochran Veterans Administration Medical Center in St. Louis.
Born July 28, 1948, in Marmaduke, Ark., son of Mildred and the Rev. Robert Burnes of Sikeston and the late Carl W. Forrester Sr., he was a mechanic and was of the Baptist belief. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
On May 2, 2001, he married Rebecca Oakley who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include: two sons, Todd Forrester and Brian Forrester of New Athens, Ill.; three stepsons, David Carlton, John Carlton and William Carlton of Missouri; two sisters, Virginia Akers of St. Louis and Anita Forrester of Sikeston; three brothers, Elmer Forrester of Cahokia, Ill., Stacy Forrester of Michigan and Mark Van Brook of Walnut Ridge, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
Military graveside rites will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
