Howard Graham

PORTAGEVILLE - Howard Graham, 83, died Oct. 16, 2004, at the Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti.

Born Jan. 20, 1921, in Steele, to the late Utree and Onie Burton Graham, he was an elder and song leader of the Church of Christ, a past member of the Portageville Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.

He was married to Mary Sue Berryman who survives of the home.

Also surviving are: three sons, Roger Graham of Henry, Tenn., Glenn Graham of Little Rock, Ark., and Gene Graham of Springfield; one daughter, Cathy Sippel of Marion, Ark.; and nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Flora Lee Mullins.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today at the DeLisle Funeral Home until time for services at 1 p.m. Monday. Jim Roberts will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery at Steele.

Pallbearers will be Gregory Graham, Jason Graham, Cody Graham, Trey Graham, Caleb Dixon and Ryan Hollis.
