CAPE GIRARDEAU - Rodney and Bobbi Hurt are the parents of their seventh child, fifth son, born at 10:05 a.m. Aug. 22, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Chase Dean Hurt weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 19 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Sharon Ivy and Danny Ivy.

Paternal grandparents are Frank Hurt and Paula Goza.

ORAN - Rebecca and Darin Woods are the parents of their second child, first daughter, born at 8:17 p.m. Aug. 16, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Cora Elizabeth Woods weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 22 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are James and Suzanne Sindle of Oran.

Paternal grandparents are Sharon and Gordon Hodge of Oran and Earl and Bonnie Woods Jr. of Morley.
