SIKESTON -- Sikeston Area Youth League Baseball was back in action on Monday night. Here are those results:
JUNIOR BABE
KSIM 9, Noranda 8
Garrett Limbaugh was 2-for-2, leading KSIM to a 9-8 victory. Other hits came from Sam Raines, James Taylor, Nick Lambert, Trey Glaus, Mark Fraser, Josh Williams, Shane Stewart and Adam Kimball.
Limbaugh, Lambert and Glaus all pitched for KSIM, allowing six hits and seven walks with three strikeouts. For Noranda, Zach Brooks was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Other hits came from A.J. Box, Matt Rushing, Tim Bell and Jacob Owens. Bell, Deere and Rushing all pitched in the loss.
DeWitt 9, U.S. Bank 1
Cody Cooper got the complete game win, allowing four hits and three walks with seven strikeouts. At the plate, Austin Williams was 2-for-3 and Cooper was 2-for-4. Other hits came from Adam Kimball, B. Redden, Dennis Evans, T. Ramey and J. Bonner. U.S. Bank saw hits from Stan Ivie, Gerald Winfield, Josh Rogers and Cody Anderson. Anderson was charged with the loss.
NATIONAL LEAGUE
Wildeyes 8, Jaycees 7
Jimmy Obermark was 4-for-4 with an RBI, leading the Wildeyes to an 8-7 victory. Eli Birdwell was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Colton Young was 1-for-2. Young, Jason Pipken, Josh Williams and Obermark all pitched in the win, allowing seven hits and six walks with eight strikeouts. For the Jaycees, Jake Pewitt and DeAdrean Grissom were both 2-for-3. Pewitt, Jason Isaacs and Darin Dicus all pitched in the loss.
Burger King 7, Lions 1
Charlie Bohannon was 3-for-3 with two RBIs, leading Burger King to a 7-1 victory. Kai Lambert was 2-for-2 and Nick Delarosa was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Zack Howard and Charlie Bohannon both pitched in the win, allowing two hits and two walks with 10 strikeouts. For the Lions, Caleb Davidson and Vince Howard were both 1-for-3. Julius Tobias, Caleb Davidson, and Vince Howard all pitched in the loss.
AMERICAN LEAGUE
Blanchard 10, Elks 5
Nate Rodgers and Evan Underwood were both 1-for-3, leading Blanchard to a 10-5 win over the Elks. On the mound, Zach Meyers and Underwood both pitched, allowing a total of four hits and eight walks with nine strikeouts. The Elks saw hits from Jason Stratman, Zach Partin, Parker Williams and Dylan Martin. Nicholas Byrd, Partin and Martin all pitched in the loss.
Fabrite 9, Steward Steel 1
Ray Clark and Josh Boese were both 2-for-4, leading Fabrite to a 9-1 win. Other hits came from Ben Freed, Ryan Wright and Trent McMillian. Boese got the win, allowing two hits and eight walks with 11 strikeouts. For Steward Steel, Brady Culver and Coby Dunn had hits. Culver and Will Holifield both pitched in the loss.
Fabrite 11, Blanchard 2
Josh Boese and Ben Freed were both 4-for-4, leading Fabrite to an 11-2 victory. The two also pitched in the win, allowing three hits and five walks with nine strikeouts. For Blanchard, Dillion Murphy was 2-for-2 and Nathan Rodgers was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
Rodgers was charged with the loss.
Kiwanis 17, Steward Steel 3
Evan Deere was 3-for-4 and Chris Limbaugh was 3-for-3, leading Kiwanis to a 17-3 victory. Deere and Caleb Pruitt both pitched in the win, allowing seven walks with four strikeouts. For Steward, Brady Culver and Tyrone Webb were both 2-for-2. Culver, Ryan Long and Coby Dunn all pitched in the loss.
MUSIAL LEAGUE
Sikeston Auto 9, Standard Democrat 8
Ian Householder and Ben Walker were both 3-for-3, leading Sikeston Auto to a 9-8 victory. Householder, Blake Angle and Bradley DeJournett all pitched in the win, allowing a total of 19 hits and five walks with 11 strikeouts. For Standard Democrat, Kyler Reever was 4-for-4 and Dillion Northcutt was 2-for-3. Andrew Hicks and Luke Keefer both pitched in the loss.
Leible 12, Noffel 4
Trent McMillian was 2-for-3 with a triple in the first inning of Monday's 12-4 victory. Clay Driskill was 3-for-3 and picked up the win, allowing seven hits and three walks with seven strikeouts. For Noffel, Kyle McElwain and Chris Kennard were both 2-for-2. Isaac Protzel and McElwain both pitched in the loss.
ROOKIE LEAGUE
D&S Salvage 11, Ferguson 9
For D&S, Caleb McCord had a double and a triple. Peyton Boyd had a triple and Gregory Crider had a double. For Ferguson, Zachary Shaw, Trenton Gross and Harley Cooksey all had triples.
Jim Wilson 11, First National 2
Miranda Fowler, Drew Harper and Sam Lincoln were all 3-for-3 for Jim Wilson. For First National, Devon Martin and Derin Hookins were both 1-for-3.
Randy's Rx 14, Ferguson 6
For Randy's Rx, Colton Black and Conner Landers both had home runs. Brandon Goodwin was 2-for-3 with a triple. Jerry Graham was 2-for-3 and Zach Simms provided a double. For Ferguson, Chase Barron was 3-for-3 with a triple and Cody Landers was 2-for-3.
