Howard Donaldson

CHARLESTON - Howard W. Donaldson, 82, died Oct. 7, 2007, at the Bertrand Nursing Center.

Born July 8, 1925, at Morehouse, to the late Tom and Emma G. Whitlock Donaldson, he had lived in Charleston most of his life and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: one sister, Betty Brown of Bertrand; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Miles Robert Donaldson; and two sisters, Lillian Isbell and Idalene Heaton.

Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Dolan Rogers, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bertrand, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Kalup Phillips, Russell Borders, Arthur Phillips, Arthur Phillips Jr., Mike Borders and Dennis Skinner.
