SIKESTON -- Hilda Meredith Rabaduex, 91, died Nov. 5, 2007, at the Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.

Born Aug. 25, 1916, in Desloge, daughter of the late James Walter Ponder and Myrtle (Hill) Ponder Parks, she was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Sikeston and had worked in the bridal shop at J.C. Penney's before retiring.

On April 10, 1937, in Bonne Terre, she married Raymond S. Rabaduex, who preceded her in death on March 28, 1994.

One sister, Doris Davis, and her stepfather, Elmer Parks, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Rae and Ralph Hampton of Mt. Olive, Ill., and Cathy and John Heacox of Sikeston; five grandchildren, Craig and Suki Hampton of Cerulean, Ky., Melissa and Gary Plymale of Carlinville, Ill., Kristopher and Kristi Heacox of Jackson, Bradly Heacox and his fiancee, Christi Jones, of Memphis, and Jeffry and Sara Heacox of Paducah, Ky.; four great-grandchildren, Dylan Plymale, Danielle Plymale, Drew Plymale and Alli Heacox; and two step-great-grandchildren, Greg Crider and Bryce Ross.

Visitation will be from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ponder Funeral Home. Dr. Rick Ramsey, pastor of Crossroads Community Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be: Kris Heacox, Brad Heacox, Jeff Heacox, John Heacox, Ralph Hampton and Craig Hampton.
