Mary Coulter

BERTRAND - Mary Doris Coulter, 68, died at 2:45 p.m. Dec. 1, 2003, at her home.

Born Dec. 17, 1934, in Columbus, Ky., daughter of the late Richmond and Mary Mae Burton Crane, she lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: two sons, Garland Wayne Summers of Charleston and Robert Dale Summers of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Martha Summers of Bertrand and Nancy Young of Murphysboro, Ill.; two brothers, Howard Crane of Cairo, Ill., and Jack Crane of Cape Girardeau; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Kenny Summers and Richard Summers; one grandson, Bryan Coulter; and two brothers and one sister.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Thursday until service time at 11 a.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Bill Bradley, minister of the Morley Church of Christ, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
