SIKESTON - Dale Richard Sipult, 78, died May 24, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Nov. 25, 1925, in Goddar, Kan., son of the late Bud and Elizabeth Poschen Sipult, he was a member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. During his 40 years as a truck driver, he had been employed by Complete Auto Transit and Midway Wholesale Florist before retiring.

On July 6, 1963, he married Legretta Belle Fausett who survives of the home.

He is also survived by one daughter, Deborah Jean Sipult of Sikeston; and four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were: two sons, Clyde Allen Sipult and Ronnie Kay Miller; five brothers, Merele Eugene Sipult, Earl Lynn Sipult, Carl Francis Sipult, Jim Nole Sipult and Glen Robert Sipult; and one sister Bulleh May Sipult.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. John Tarter, pastor of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. David Phillips, pastor of Puxico Baptist Chapel.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Robertson, David Fausett, Mark Fausett, Joe Battersley, Aaron Rapier and Bobby Graves.
