SAPULPA, Okla. - Robert Leeman Carrow, 71, formerly of Morley, Mo., died at 4:45 p.m. Oct. 10, 2004, at his home.
Born Dec. 25, 1932, in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Robert William and Ethelene Hodge, he had worked as a construction worker and painter before becoming a minister. He served as a minister of the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Joplin, Mo., for 20 years before retiring and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church International.
On Jan. 5, 1951, at Morley, he married Pat York who survives on the home.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Connie Sheppard of Doniphan, Mo., Pam Cooke of Austin, Texas, Becky Shipp of Sulphur, La., and Laurie Phillips of Sapulpa; one sister, Lola Freeman of Jefferson City, Mo.; and 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by one son in addition to his parents.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett with the Revs. Bobby Tidwell of Osceola, Ark., Carroll McGruder of Kennett and Keith Townsley of Tulsa, Okla., officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, Mo.
