PORTAGEVILLE - Harold Eugene Worth Sr., 62, died Sept. 30, 2004, at the Abbey Nursing Home in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Born April 30, 1942, at Clines Island, son of the late Vallee Brook and Julie Bell Retting Worth, he was a boilermaker in ship building for many years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include: one daughter, Nicole Worth Flickinger of Stanley, N.D.; one son, Harold Eugene Worth Jr. of Morehouse; one sister Juanita Cravens of Fenton, Mich.; five brothers, the Rev. W.H. Worth of Essex, Billy Doyle Worth of Clearwater, Fla., Loranze Worth of Flint, Mich., and Truman Lee Worth and Richard Worth of Vassar, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Alphonse Worth, Frank Worth, Vallee Worth Jr., Edward Worth and Ronnie Neal Worth; and one sister, Rachel Ellen Walker.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at the Portageville Cemetery with the Rev. W.H. Worth officiating.
