BLOOMFIELD - Raymond Curtis O'Neal, 92, died Feb. 4, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Feb. 24, 1915, in Pocahontas, Ark., to the late James and Jennie Hibbard O'Neal, he had lived in Bloomfield most of his life, where he was a member of the First General Baptist Church.
On Dec. 31, 1947, in Piggott, Ark., he married Anna Lois Jones, who preceded him in death on Oct. 16, 2007.
Also preceding him in death were twin siblings in infancy; seven brothers, Joe O'Neal, John O'Neal, Earl O'Neal, Herbert O'Neal, Fred O'Neal, Omar O'Neal and Lehman O'Neal; and two sisters, Grace Adams and Lavelle Young.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Cyndi O'Neal of Bloomfield; one brother, Glen O'Neal of Jackson, Tenn.; four sisters, Juanita Rankin of Grayridge, Opal Smith of Jackson, Tenn., and Faye Wheeler and Mayme McConnaghay of Flint, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Jeffery Corlew of Essex officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
