DEXTER - William George Eisenhart, 84, died June 18, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter. Born Aug. 17, 1920, at St. Louis to the late William and Marie Meyer Eisenhart, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dexter. A former maintenance superintendent for the University City School District in St. Louis, he lived his entire life in St. Louis until moving to Dexter upon retirement in 1982...

DEXTER - William George Eisenhart, 84, died June 18, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter.

Born Aug. 17, 1920, at St. Louis to the late William and Marie Meyer Eisenhart, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dexter. A former maintenance superintendent for the University City School District in St. Louis, he lived his entire life in St. Louis until moving to Dexter upon retirement in 1982.

On Nov. 17, 1945, at St. Charles, he married Miza Stroup Acord who preceded him in death on Oct. 8, 2002.

Survivors include: one stepson, Robert H. Acord of St. Louis; one stepdaughter, Nancy Webb of Dexter; one brother, Donald Eisenhart of St. Louis; and five stepgrandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Eisenhart.

Visitation will be from noon until time for services at 2 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Fred Leist and Roy Sherfield will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
