SIKESTON -- Goldie Edwards, 77, died April 6, 2005, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston.
Born May 16, 1928, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Fred and Hallie Cooley, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston. A graduate of Sikeston High School, she attended St. Louis Business College and was a self-
employed custom drapery maker before retiring.
Her husband, Charles Edwards, preceded her in death in 2001.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Chip and Tonya Edwards of Murray, Ky.; three grandchildren, Ashley Edwards, Whitley Edwards and Haley Edwards of Murray; and one cousin, Gene Hogan of Cape Girardeau.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Ponder Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
