HOWARDVILLE -- Eliza M. Farr, 72, died April 7, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Born Jan. 15, 1933, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of Iodia Wheeler Johnson and the late Lusher Johnson, she had lived in Missouri over 66 years. HOWARDVILLE -- Eliza M. Farr, 72, died April 7, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Jan. 15, 1933, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of Iodia Wheeler Johnson and the late Lusher Johnson, she had lived in Missouri over 66 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Catron, where she served on the usher board and was a member of the senior choir.

Her husband, Clem Farr, preceded her in death.

In addition to her mother, survivors include: three sons, Calvin Farr of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Ronnie Farr and Kenny Farr of Howardville; two daughters, Gearlean Farr of Howardville and Maxine Jackson of Fort Wayne; one brother, Bobby L. Johnson of Clarkston, Mich.; five sisters, Ophelia Beane of Bernie, Altee Johnson and Mary L. Johnson of Howardville, Iola White of Mount Morris, Mich., and Bobbie Gladney of Houston, Texas; and 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Williams Funeral Home in Howardville.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at New Beginning Church in Lilbourn with the Rev. Richard Houston, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Catron, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Simmons Park Cemetery at Catron.
