Stogddill wins 6th annual Jungle Walk
SIKESTON - The 6th Annual Sikeston Area Jungle Walk was held Saturday, May 21, on the Scott Matthews farm just south of town.
Entrants this year came from five states, and well over 50 participants were involved in the event. Course conditions for the event were rated excellent by the participants.
Featured this year along with the main competitive event were a bowling ball mortar and a PVC-concrete mortar. Additionally, a free-fire area was a very popular participative event for the spectators.
This year's main course was comprised of 17 reactive targets, and one bowling ball slider. Bonus points were given for hitting the slider. As usual, the course required trigger control, accuracy and stamina.

The highlight of the show was a brief ceremony in recognition of the United Nations and its efforts to establish individual rights throughout the world.
