BERNIE - Kenny Thurston, 58, died Feb. 26, 2006, at his residence in Bernie.
Born Jan. 28, 1948, at Poplar Bluff to the late Cletus Eugene Red Thurston and Virginia Treas Thurston, he was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bernie. A former processing engineer with ArvinMeritor in Dexter, he was formerly employed with Specialty Engineer in Dexter and the Autry Morlan Chevrolet, Cadillac, Nissan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Scottish Rite and Shriners.
On July 8, 1972, at Malden, he married Judy Botsch, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are: one daughter, Lucy Thurston of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Douglas Thurston, address unavailable; and one stepsister, Sue Edmonds of St. Louis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Melba Thurston.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Dr. Thomas Bass and the Rev. Susan Marner-Sides will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
