PORTAGEVILLE -- Allean Stephens, 90, died Feb. 26, 2006, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born June 17, 1915, in Boekerton, she was the daughter of the late James and Dora Dean Phillips Edward.
On April 23, 1932, in Portageville, she married William "Bill" Stephens who preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1992.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Stephens, and two brothers, Francis Buck Simer and Henry E. Simer.
Survivors include: one daughter, Joy Ashby of Portageville; one grandson, Lewis Ashby of Portageville; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Buck Morton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
