GRAVOIS MILLS -- Tull A. Garner, 83, died Sept. 22, 2006, at his home.
Born May 19, 1923, in Promise Land, Ark., son of the late Marion and Fannie Garner, he was a porter for General Motors in St. Louis for 30 years. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he served during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of VFW Post 3127 in Chaffee.
His wife, Virginia M. Garner, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Tull Allen (Montie) Garner of Harvester; four daughters, Peggy (Larry) Whitley of Rochester, Minn., Thanya Garner and Ann (Ignacio) Perez of Lake St. Louis and Kathy (Rodgers) Mueller of Gravois Mills; two sisters, Ruby Walden of Kennett and Sammie Poe of Chaffee; and 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Five brothers, one sister and one foster son preceded him in death. No visitation is scheduled.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield.
