DEXTER - Russell Lee Fleeman, 79, died April 29, 2006, at his home.
Born Sept. 26, 1926, at Essex, son of the late Walter and Ila McArthur Fleeman, he was the owner of Fleeman Farm Supply in Dexter until his retirement in 1982. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and was of the General Baptist belief.
On Jan. 19, 1945, at Paragould, Ark., he married Bettie Ann Lambert who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Tammy Fleeman of Dexter and Anthony and Vikki Fleeman of Mineola, Texas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Dana Brooks of Jackson, Tenn., and Karen and Rip Harper of Dexter; one brother, Kenneth Fleeman of Peoria, Ill.; one sister, Wanda Foster of Dudley; and six grandchildren.
Services were conducted today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. W.V. Mosbey officiated.
Burial with full military honors followed in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
