Ronnie Holder

EAST PRAIRIE - Ronnie Holder, 64, died at 11:20 a.m. Dec. 29, 2007, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Aug. 24, 1943, in East Prairie, to the late James Ronald and Beatrice McClendon Holder, he lived in Mississippi County most of his life and was employed by the Cargill Grain Elevator as a maintenance engineer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his companion, Nancy Hedges of the home; one son, Jeff Ireland of North Port, Fla.; one daughter, Lisa Montgomery of Imperial; one stepson, Brian Merryman of St. Louis; two stepdaughters, Lori Pazdera of Charleston and Amy Smith of Sikeston; and four grandsons and nine stepgrandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Holder.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with Martin Lucas officiating.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Redfering, Charlie Brown, James Smith, Scott Pazdera, Louis Kirby and Claude Thomure.
