Billie Bell

BLOOMFIELD - Billie Bell, 79, died Dec. 31, 2007, at her home near Bloomfield.

Born Oct. 12, 1928, at Morehouse, to the late Earl Theophilus and Mabel Marie Pack Gregory, she was a homemaker.

On Jan. 15, 1947, at Piggott, Ark., she married Ervin Bell Jr., who preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 1998.

Three brothers, Glen Earl Gregory, James Lee Gregory and Thomas Wayne Gregory, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons, Danny Ervin Bell of Bridgeton, Thomas Lee Bell of Dexter and Michael Earl Bell of Bloomfield; four sisters, Deannie Bollinger, Lou Nell Curtner, Alma Vivian Creed and Bessie Ruth Fields, all of Sikeston; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
