EAST PRAIRIE -- Kenneth W. Hale, 82 , died at 12:26 a.m. March 24, 2005, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
Born Nov. 18, 1922, in Arkansas, son of the late George W. and Maude Williams Hale, he had live most of his life in East Prairie, where he owned and operated Hale Radiator Shop for several years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy.
Survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, George and Lou Hale of Bonne Terre and Danny Hale of East Prairie; one daughter, Ruth Wilson of East Prairie; one brother, W.D. Hale of Kissimmee, Fla.; and six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Lucy Hale; five brothers; and one sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Friday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday. Dale Billingsley will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
