SCOTT CITY - Lewis Allen Bundy, 79, died May 14, 2006, at his home.

Born May 1, 1927, in Wickliffe, Ky., son of the late Herbert Roscoe and Gracie Etta Perkins Bundy, he was a United States Army veteran having served during World War II, and had been a truck driver for J.T. Pinkston Trucking Company.

On July 14, 1948, he married Ruby Evelyn Simmons, who preceded him in death on Oct. 23, 1995.

One brother, one sister and one great-grandchild also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: four sons, Kenneth Bundy of Charleston, Bruce Bundy of Jackson, Raymond Bundy of Waverly, Tenn., and Richard Bundy of Scott City; two daughters, Patricia Johns of Oran and Tina Bill of Jackson; two brothers, Howard Bundy of Chesterfield and Paul Bundy of Burlington, N.C.; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Howard Bundy will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
