SIKESTON - Jerry Franklin Rose, 67, died Dec. 24, 2005, at his home.
Born May 30, 1938, in Sikeston, son of the late Paul B. and Virginia Anderson Rose, he was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Korean War. Before retirement, he had worked as a truck driver for various truck lines.
On Feb. 17, 1966, in Roselle, he married Judy Ann Gottman, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Paul David Rose of Sikeston; three daughters and one son-in-law, Lisa Dianne and Jeff Meyers of Washington, Mo. and Kim Pierson and Tammy VanHossen, both of New Philadelphia, Ohio; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Don Massey of Marble Hill; and three grandsons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Rose and his stepfather, John Harr.
Funeral services were conducted today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, with Jerry Gottman officiating.
Burial followed with full military honors at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
