Two men arrested for drugs

HAYTI -- Two men were arrested Tuesday following the discovery of a methamphetamine lab by the Bootheel Drug Task Force and Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department.

According to the Bootheel Drug Task Force, agents and deputies from both offices conducted an investigation in reference to a methamphetamine lab located at the residence on County Highway 407, east of Braggadocio. Upon arriving at the residence, agents observed a 27-year-old male from Kennett and a 20-year-old male from Blytheville, Ark., coming out of a shed at the residence. A consensual search of the shed revealed an active meth lab and liquid meth, as well as quantity of finished meth.

Both subjects, whose names are not being released pending the filing of formal charges by the Pemiscot County prosecuting attorney, were transported to the Pemiscot County Justice Center.
