BLOOMFIELD -- Johnny F. Horn, 71, died March 9, 2008, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Sept. 21, 1936, in Stanberry, to the late Jesse Horn and Alie Eagan Horn, he was a farmer for many years.
On Feb. 7, 1963, in Essex, he married Iva Dowdy who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, Anthony Cunningham and Johnny Horn of Dexter and Billy Horn of La Vergne, Tenn.; four daughters, Shelia Reeves of Golden Valley, Ariz., Pam Sanders of Dexter, Vickie Sanders of Essex and Jennifer Teague of Bloomfield; three brothers, Terry Horn of Jacksonville, Fla., and Bob Horn and Jesse Horn of Dexter; four sisters, Verneal Durbin of Bloomfield, Nadine Teeters of Circle City, Nina Williamson of Puxico and Shirley Smith of Boise, Idaho; and 27 grandchildren and four great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Herman Horn, and two sisters, Wilda Menley and Lana Spencer.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Gary Gilbert will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
