SIKESTON -- Jessie J. Sebaugh, 85, died at 4:19 p.m. June 29, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Born Oct. 26, 1919, in Burfordville, daughter of the late Otis E. and Daisy Stroder Allen, she had attended Business College in Cape Girardeau and was a homemaker. SIKESTON -- Jessie J. Sebaugh, 85, died at 4:19 p.m. June 29, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 26, 1919, in Burfordville, daughter of the late Otis E. and Daisy Stroder Allen, she had attended Business College in Cape Girardeau and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston.

On Jan. 4, 1940, in Cape Girardeau, she married Ovis Sebaugh who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Ann Sebaugh of St. Charles; one daughter and son-in-law, LaVerne and Jimmy Sanders of Sikeston; one sister, Anna Mae Hopkins of Sikeston; and four grandchildren, Greg Sanders, Jeanna Murray, Andrea Bunch and Jason Sebaugh.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Earnest Clifford Allen; and one granddaughter, Tina Lynn Sanders.

Visitation is from noon Saturday until time for services at 2 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Geoff Posegate, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Harold Norton, pastor of senior adult ministry at First United Methodist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
