Your view: Bush distrusted

Thursday, July 7, 2005

The President's speech did absolutely nothing to inspire me to put my faith in his reckless and corrupt hands. Iraq, by his administration's own admission, had nothing to do with September 11th. His verbal tie between them is just another miserable example of his strangely effective ability to go for gut reactions by twisting the truth. This should give Fox News at least two days of on-air regime-worship. We should expect this kind intentional, vile dishonesty from his sleazy Evangelical puppets like Pat Robertson, but I would like to think our own President would have some respect for the American People's intelligence. The assertion that we are safer because of this war is a complete joke.
