LILBOURN - Annie Laura Singleton, 91, died Sept. 8, 2005, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.
Born April 8, 1914, in West Port, Tenn., daughter of the late Ezra and Elizabeth Bailey Flowers, she had worked in the dietary department at Beverly Health Care in New Madrid before retiring.
On Oct. 15, 1936, in Gosnell, Ark., she married T.J. Singleton who preceded her in death in May 1973.
In addition to her husband and parents, one great-grandson, Dennis Ray Crockett III, and one sister preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Ann and Larry Lewis of Lilbourn; two brothers, Hulen Flowers of Battle Creek, Mich., and Thomas Flowers of Arnold; one sister, Lavelle Fields of El Paso, Texas; three grandchildren and spouses, Doug and Elizabeth Brooks, Kristi and Daniel Vaughn of Sikeston, and Tammi Whitehead and her fianceé Daniel Martinez of New Madrid; and nine great-grandchildren, Zachary Brooks, Brittany Belt, Madeline Brooks, Alexi Vaughn and Colby Vaughn of Sikeston and Emily Claire Whitehead, Amanda Martinez, Toryana Martinez and Dylan Watson of New Madrid.
Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. until time for services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn with the Rev. Don Stephens officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery in Lilbourn.
